Girls, the morning hustle is real around here. It doesn’t matter how early we wake up it seems like we’re always rushing to get out the door. Between eating a healthy breakfast, packing lunches, and getting everyone dressed there’s never enough time. So instead of giving up {we’re not quitters in this family} I simply made a few adjustments {or enhancements!} to help myself get dressed and out the door faster. I’d love to share them with you today!

1. Organize your clothes by color

I’m sure you’ll be shocked to hear that I have a lot of clothes. So many that it’s easy to forget what I have. A few weeks ago I took about an hour during Annabelle’s nap and took everything out of my closet so that I could put it all back in organized by color. It’s actually amazing how much easier it is to find what I’m looking for and quickly identify what I want to wear. It’s never been more fun to get dressed! I used the ROYGBIV guideline and then added like colors and patterns accordingly.

2. Hang things where you can see them

Ken wasn’t thrilled when I asked him to drill more than a few holes in our wall one day but I have to say it was worth it. I was struggling with how to fill up some blank space on our bedroom wall {one can only have so many gallery walls} and had also been wanting to hang up my ever growing collection of hats because they were squished and forgotten about in our closet. I found these knobs at Target and knew they’d be the perfect accent I was looking for. Not only have I hung hats on the wall but it’s easy to also hang necklaces, handbags, and outfits I’m styling. It’s so fun to have it all out and I never forget to add a hat before I walk out the door!

3. Avoid white marks

The last thing I need to do is add time to my morning routine by removing white marks from my clothes {or even worse, having to change when they don’t come out}. In fact, Dove did a survey and found that 65% of women wish they had more time in the morning {can I meet the other 45%? What are they doing with all this time they have?}. Luckily, Dove Invisible Dry Spray Antiperspirant {which I’ve used forever} goes on invisible, leaving no white marks on 100 colors of clothes and keeps you fresh all day to get you out the door in no time.
